Welcome back to another episode of Shoe Care Academy. The bubbliest Jonny we know is back with a how to clean up the Adidas x Forum Low ‘Bad Bunny Pink Easter Egg’!
After inserting the adjustable shoe tree, removing the laces, and adding two squirts of solution to the bowl of water, Jonny gave the uppers a thorough scrub using the soft bristle brush. ***Note: We recommend keeping the suede on your shoes dry unless there’s no other option – meaning your shoe is TRASHED! If you must put water and solution on suede, please be sure to coat the sneaker evenly. Whenever suede gets wet there’s always a possibility of water spots, color fading and/or bleeding.***
Once the uppers were complete, Jonny broke out the medium bristle brush to hit those deeper stains and to clean up the midsoles. From there it was time to hit the outsole using the stiff bristle brush and a little but of elbow grease!
Before letting the shoe dry in the Arizona sun, Bubbles made sure to give the insole a good clean using the medium bristle brush. After the shoes had finished drying, we’re happy to report no water spots! The Easter egg pink was still beautiful, but not as soft and buttery as we wanted it, so Jonny broke out the Mink Oil to help bring back that perfect suede texture and add a little pop to the color!
